Our Foolish Ways
Sometimes we act foolishly, saying or doing things that do not go over well with our audience. Sometimes we make hasty decisions, or maybe we don’t completely think through an action before we do it. Humans are allowed to make mistakes even when trying to do the right thing.
The key is to learn from our foolish behaviour
If there is no correction, poor choices can become habits which negatively impacts our character. Bottom line is that it never pays to ignore Our Foolish Ways.
It’s hard at times to admit our foolish ways because it takes a lot of work. Reflecting on a particular character flaw is a painful task but worth it in the long term. Turn that pain into a learning experience. Apologizing to anyone you may have hurt can also go a long way to changing the way people see you.
Apologizing can be both Humbling and Redeeming
Wise people usually think before they act. Foolish people regret their actions after it’s already done. Are you going to be one of those people who will continue to be foolish? Or, are you going to be one that works hard to earn respect, be humble, and redeem yourself from Your Foolish Ways?
Endure the pain now…You will be grateful later!
